PHOENIX — A man has died after an altercation led to a shooting in Phoenix overnight.
The incident occurred near 7th Street and Baseline Road late Sunday night.
Phoenix police say two men were involved in an altercation when one man fired a gun, hitting the other man.
The victim, 51-year-old Denzell Williams, died from his injuries.
Police say the suspect, Dajoun Miller, was taken into custody.
Homicide detectives are working to learn more about the incident.
