PHOENIX — Phoenix firefighters say a woman is in critical condition following a three-vehicle collision in Phoenix Sunday afternoon.
Officials say the crash occurred at around 2:36 p.m. near 3rd Street and McDowell Road.
When firefighters arrived on scene, they found a 39-year-old woman trapped in a vehicle. She was then extricated from the vehicle and transported to a local trauma facility with serious injuries.
Firefighters also say a 32-year-old man was transported to a nearby hospital in stable condition.
The cause of the collision is currently under investigation.
