The last connected case happened on July 11 when the suspect fired at a vehicle with two passengers, both survived.

Witnesses from the latest incident have come forward with what they saw that night. For safety reasons, they did not want their faces or names on camera.

They said they were in the house when they heard gunshots, and one of them said that they even came face-to-face with the shooter. "He had a hat on, but his eyes and the rest of his shape match the [police] sketch," the witness said.

Six of the nine shootings have occurred in the Maryvale area of Phoenix. The three other shootings, including the most recent incident, have happened either in the downtown area or north of Sky Harbor Airport.

The July 11 case stands out because it has been the first to happen in the daylight and while the victims were still in their car.

Silent Witness is offering a $50,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest.
