A Southwest plane arriving in Phoenix from California and scheduled to depart for Texas was delayed after an unruly passenger verbally attacked another passenger.

According to the airline, the flight had left Ontario, CA, and was scheduled to stop in Phoenix before taking off for Austin, TX. While en route to Phoenix, there was an incident on the flight and the unruly passenger was detained.

110 passengers from flight 874 de-boarded the plane in Phoenix. Flight attendants requested the help of law enforcement as well as medical crews to remove the unruly passenger.

Southwest said its flight attendants used their training to help "manage the situation" until police could arrive and help remove the man.

Cell phone video captured a man, wearing a jersey, restrained in a chair.

The person who recorded the video, and shared it with ABC15, appears to be told by an authoritative figure at the airport to "put your camera away."

The video captured groans, that appear to be coming from the unruly and restrained passenger, as the man was wheeled away by an escort.

Details regarding the verbal abuse are unavailable at the moment.
