VIDEO: 2 masked men steal trailer, equipment

A Valley business was cleaned out over the weekend after two masked men broke in.

It happened at Arizona Exterior Cleaning near 46th Street and Thomas Road.

“They took about $60,000 worth of equipment,” said business owner Brandon Carnicle.

The men took just about everything they could from Arizona Exterior Cleaning on Sunday.

“They were loading up floor scrubbers and reels and hoses,” said Carnicle.

The suspects were caught on camera.

Carnicle said the biggest loss is his $35,000 trailer that had a pressure washer on it.

“It’s a 26-foot trailer, it’s the biggest one we have,” he said.

The thieves made their way in by clipping a barbed wire fence and tearing it down.

“They had a white face mask on like one of those dust masks,” he said.

And the two stayed for hours.

“They got here about 12:30 in the morning. They knocked down the camera at about 4:30 in the morning and then the neighbors actually spooked them when they showed up at around 7:30 in the morning and they booked it out of here,” Carnicle said.

He said he doesn’t believe they picked a business at random. He believes they specifically targeted his.

“It does drive you a little crazy, trying to wonder,” he said. “Especially when they seem so calm about the situation like they knew our shift, they knew our business.”
