A Valley entrepreneur is about to get a big boost from Oprah Winfrey.
The media mogul included Deana Montrose’s beauty product in Oprah’s Favorite Things. The product is called the Glove Treat and it’s a Do-It-Yourself paraffin treatment for hands and feet. It’s ready to use after two minutes in the microwave.
The product, which retails for $37, also has a heat sensor to make sure you don’t accidentally burn yourself.’
“It's been really great and I’m already feeling what they call ‘The Oprah effect.’ It's been pretty cool from the second it came out,” Montrose said.
She also said that she has already seen a 1,000 percent increase in sales, and the magazine issue that her product is featured in hasn’t even been sent to subscribers yet.
