One hundred pounds down and feeling better than ever.

Nissa Graun battled losing weight for 20 years before she found a solution that worked for her. After two decades of yo-yo dieting, she had a life-changing realization to listen to her body and meet her personal needs.

"When I did low-carb diets in the past, I always failed," Graun said. "My body was constantly craving junk foods that I previously had."

After Graun had her first son, she realized she had to make a definitive change.

"I went to my all-time high of 235 pounds," she said.

It was during that search for answer that Graun found a book called "Kick Your Fat in the Nuts." The book made her realize what she really needed to focus on during her weight-loss journey was fixing her digestion.

Graun started taking supplements to help her body process foods better and more efficiently and with some patience and determination, she started seeing results.

"I actually wanted healthier vegetables, the healthier fats and healthier proteins," she said.

Graun is now down 100 pounds and encouraging others to listen to figure out what's best for their own body. She said she used to be an exercise addict, but never saw results. She now works out a couple hours  week and uses it as a form relaxation and staying healthy, instead of a forced workout to lose weight.

"Now it's just easier to life my life," Graun said.
