This is the best part of the day for Zac Phoenix. It's really everything he's wanted to do in life, create beauty. "I never know what the makeup is going to look like until it's done," said Zac. "It's just like intuition takes over and experience takes over."

Before he ever got here, Zac was growing up in Spokane, Washington - a young boy who loved to paint and draw. In high school that artistic talent started to evolve.

"I was always looking through magazines and I'm like - oh yeah, I'm going to do makeup like that.," said Zac. "That's where I wanted to see my makeup. I wanted to see my makeup in the magazines and on TV."

And just as life would have it, Zac's work is now seen by millions. Doing makeup for Nikki and Brie Bella.

"There's something about them that is so genuine." He's also worked for the the cast of Total Divas Live, artist Dej Lof and 2016 Olympic Gold Medalist, Bethanie Mattek Sands.

The hardest part of get right on any client. the lips. Zac says they're such a personal feature. As for the best makeup tip, less might be more.

"I feel like the instinct for women is to cover it all up because it's not good enough but they don't always need all that makeup." This is all still surreal for the 29-year old. Often times Zac needs to pinch himself and remember the journey that has made his talent so unique.
