An Arizona man is designing a special gown for Disney that will be featured in a new exhibit this summer at Epcot.

Loren Aragon caught the attention of Walt Disney Imagineers for his unique fashion style.

"All my inspiration comes from my culture which is the Acoma Pueblo and we are mostly known for our pottery art culture," said Aragon.

Aragon uses monochrome patterns from the pottery art in his fashion designs.

Disney asked Aragon to design a piece based on a traditional pot for a new exhibit called “Creating Tradition: Innovation and Change in American Indian Art.”

"I want it to be drop dead gorgeous and really have it stand out and be representative of what I can do and what our culture represents," said Aragon.

Aragon's fashion brand Aconav is also taking off.

In 2017, he won Couture Designer of the Year 2017 for Phoenix Fashion Week.

"To me this is my inspiration to try to inspire others to show that we can break out of our own pottery culture and express through other means," said Aragon.
