PHOENIX — You’re being responsible by calling an Uber for a safe ride home, and then you realize you have to pay extra during surge pricing...bummer!

Now, Uber is offering a way to lock in consistent prices.

The company is expanding its Uber Ride Pass program after launching it to test last year.

Starting Tuesday, the Ride Pass program will be offered in 20 more cities, including Phoenix.

According to Uber, you can pay a monthly fee with Ride Pass to make sure there are no surprises during your ride. You can also reportedly track how much you’ve saved on rides by using the program.

Users can choose to auto-renew the Ride Pass or cancel at any time.

In some cities, program purchasers can get benefits with JUMP e-bikes and scooters, too.

Fortunately, Phoenix is one of those cities! Uber says the Ride Pass will include up to 30 minutes per day with JUMP.

Other cities getting Ride Pass on Tuesday include: New York City, San Francisco, Dallas, San Diego, Seattle, Sacramento, San Antonio, Las Vegas, Orange County, Baltimore-Maryland, New Orleans, Nashville, Portland, Raleigh-Durham, St. Louis, Jacksonville and Memphis.

The other cities with JUMP benefits include: New York City (Bronx and Staten Island), Dallas, San Diego, Seattle, San Antonio and Nashville.
