Police are investigating a double stabbing at a Phoenix bus stop.
According to information at the scene near 44th and Washington streets, two people were stabbed around 4 a.m. Monday.
Phoenix police say two men and two women were at the bus stop when an argument began between the two men. One of the men left and came back with a knife and threatened the second man, who fled the scene. The suspect then targeted the women, stabbing both.
One of the women suffered non-life threatening injuries and the second woman is said to be in critical condition.
The suspect was taken into custody and police believe all involved were part of a group, known to each other.
The 44th Street and Washington light rail platform near the scene was not impacted. Westbound lanes of Washington Street were shut down for the investigation.
