Two crashes in the same area of southbound I-17 caused delays for drivers Monday morning.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, around 5:53 a.m. a crash occurred on I-17 and 19th Avenue. It's unknown how many vehicles were involved or how many people were injured.
Five minutes later just north of 7th Avenue a car hit a wall and DPS said a commercial truck was also located off right in the area. Injuries are also unknown.
DPS said both collisions are a part of the same incident.
The lanes were later reopened after the crashes.
