Police are searching for a man who is stealing cigarettes from a Phoenix convenience store.

According to a police spokesperson, since Dec. 17, 2016, the same man has entered the Circle K near Bell Road and 7th Avenue and stolen cartons of cigarettes on multiple occasions.

Police say he goes behind the counter and takes the cigarettes before leaving the store without paying.

Authorities believe that he's likely selling the stolen cigarettes and that they're not for personal use.

He's described as being white, between 20 and 25 years old, 5'7" and 140 pounds. He has been seen wearing a black and gray hoodie with horizontal and vertical stripes.

Anyone with information about the suspect's whereabouts is asked to call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.
