A Phoenix man is facing several charges after allegedly using his cell phone to secretly record other men using the bathroom.

Police said 19-year-old Jacob Isaiah Martin recorded men for months in various bathrooms around the Valley.

According to court documents, a man caught Martin recording another man in a public bathroom near 33rd Avenue and Camelback Road.

The man saw Martin holding his cell phone over the adjoining stall and the victim on the screen.

The witness quietly told the victim what he saw and left the bathroom to get security, according to documents. The victim stayed in the bathroom with the suspect.

Martin denied the accusations and let security inspect his phone. The guard did not find video of the victim on it, but found video of another victim using a urinal.

Police arrived and Martin told him video of the victim was saved to an SD card in his picket. Detectives also found other media cards in his backpack.

He admitted to police that he had been making these secret recordings for six months.

He was booked into jail on one count of unlawful videotape recording of a person.
