Little Jayah is a miracle, a miracle with two birthdays.

Actually, she has one birthday and a re-birthday.

Recently, the two-year-old celebrated one of those re-birthdays.

She was joined by the firefighters and paramedics who helped save her life.

Last February, while her mom was in the bathroom, Jayah slipped outside and into the backyard pool.

By the time she was found, Jayah had been in the water a full five minutes. She was lifeless as firefighters started CPR and rushed her to a nearby hospital. Doctors worked for a full 90 minutes to bring her back to life. Finally, they declared her dead.

As they were contacting the medical examiner, a miracle, little Jayah began to cough. But, she wasn't out of the woods yet.

She was flown to Phoenix Children's Hospital. In the middle of that flight, her heart stopped again. Doctors revived her again. She spent days in a medically induced coma, but within weeks she was walking and talking again.

Nobody can explain exactly why.

Now Jayah celebrates two birthdays, one on the day she was born, one of when she came back to life at Phoenix Children's Hospital.
