Phoenix police say they are investigating a serious crash involving a pedestrian.
The incident happened Wednesday evening near 7th Street and McDowell Road.
Police say the pedestrian has, "what appear to be life-threatening injuries."
According to information from the scene, the driver of the vehicle involved in the crash stayed on scene and showed no signs of impairment.
The pedestrian was reportedly in the crosswalk and did not have the right of way at the time of the crash.
