Authorities say seven people are injured after a car barreled into a Phoenix bus stop Tuesday night.

Phoenix police say two cars were involved in the crash near 43rd Avenue and McDowell Road.

Of the seven injured, three were taken to the hospital. Officers say the three are two women and a young boy who are reported to be in stable condition.

Phoenix Sgt. Trent Crump says it appears the victims were from the two cars, and no pedestrians were hit.

Even though the bus stop is mangled and taped off in crime scene tape, buses still came through to pick up passengers.

“I think it’s crazy,” said bus rider Darnell Miles. “If I wouldn’t have come from just having a drink, I would need a drink after seeing this.”

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
