Officials are investigating after a body was found in downtown Phoenix.
Phoenix police said the body was found on Wednesday morning near 3rd Avenue and Roosevelt Street.
According to police, there was obvious signs of trauma to the body. Police are treating the scene as a homicide.
Officers said the body is an adult male and appears to be a transient.
Detectives are responding to investigate the circumstances around the death.
