Beginning in March, if you want to light up, you won't be able to do so on Maricopa County properties.
The county will become 100 percent smoke-free on March 16, 2016, meaning all tobacco usage will be prohibited on county-owned properties.
Buildings, sidewalks, walkways and parking lots are part of the smoke-free move and there will be no more smoking areas or ashtrays. County park lands are excluded from the policy.
Maricopa County says smokeless tobacco and e-cigarettes are part of the prohibited tobacco products.
March 16 is Kick Butts Day, a national movement to keep kids away from tobacco.
