Federal prosecutors say the sixth and final defendant has been sentenced in connection with an Arizona-based steroid trafficking organization.

They say 38-year-old Jose Flores of Phoenix was sentenced to 37 months in prison by a U.S. District Court judge last week.

Flores had previously pleaded guilty to conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute steroids and conspiracy to commit money laundering.

Prosecutors say the trafficking organization used underground laboratories in Phoenix to convert raw steroid powder imported from China into pills and injectable liquids.

The organization was accused of selling steroids on the internet and mailing thousands of packages of steroids throughout the country.

Flores and two other Arizona men got prison terms while three others were each sentenced to three years of probation.
