Phoenix Fire Department says two people are out of their home after a fire broke out on the second story of an apartment complex Monday morning.
Fire crews were called to the complex near 31st Avenue and Dunlap after smoke alarms alerted the residents to evacuate.
Firefighters were able to contain the fire to the single unit.
At this time, the cause of the fire is unknown, but investigators are still working to determine what happened.
