DPS is investigating after a woman was traveling on Interstate 10 and was hit by road debris.
The incident happened around 10:50 a.m. on eastbound Interstate 10 near 7th Avenue.
According to DPS, Phoenix fire responded to the scene and treated a woman who had a head injury due to the road debris.
There is no word what the debris was or how it entered the vehicle. DPS said the incident is under investigation.
Troopers are on the scene investigating.
