A car that crashed into a Phoenix power pole caused a power outage to hundreds of customers Tuesday morning.
The vehicle crashed near 16th Street and Thomas after 4 a.m. Damage to the pole knocked out power for more than 600 APS customers in the area.
Maintenance crews arrived on the scene and as of 6 a.m., power had already been restored to all but 60 customers.
According to information at the scene, it appears the occupants of the vehicles fled the scene.
