Next time you get sick or hurt and need Urgent Care services, you might not even have to leave your house.

Mercy Care Plan and Mercy Maricopa Integrated Care announced they are now partnering with DispatchHealth, offering on-demand mobile urgent care services in the Phoenix area.

The service boasts greater convenience, lower costs than an emergency room visit and better care.

Patients can call, go online or use a mobile app to request care at their home. An emergency room-trained medical team will then head to your location to provide medical attention.

They say their teams are trained to provide mobile care including suturing, IVs, UTI treatments, catheter insertion, lab tests, rapid infectious disease testing, stapling, wound care, sprains and strains, respiratory care and more. Mobile X-Rays can also be requested.

Additionally, the mobile team can send prescriptions to the patient's pharmacy, send information to their primary care physician and coordinate payment through Mercy Care Plan and Mercy Maricopa Integrated Care.

According to their website, the average wait for medical attention through DispatchHealth is one hour, as opposed to four hours in an urgent care center or ER. Services can also be up to 10 times cheaper than an ER visit.

DispatchHealth is available in the Phoenix area from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week, 365 days a year.

To request service, call 480-493-3444, go online or download their app.
