Police in Cottonwood say they've arrested a man suspected of beating an elderly RV park manager after an argument over skunks in the park.

Cottonwood police say 53-year-old Timothy Estling faces two counts of aggravated assault and two counts of disorderly conduct in the Nov. 13 beating of an 80-year-old man who manages the RV park where he lives.

Detective Sgt. Tod Moore says Estling approached the victim to complain about skunks in the park that sprayed his cats. Estling then attacked the victim after he told him he couldn't do anything about the skunks, Moore said.

The man is still being treated for his injuries.

Moore said Estling has a history of assault and that police were eager to find him because he is a danger to the community.
