A Hello Kitty backpack prompted a felony drug arrest in Kingman on Monday night.
Mohave County Sheriff's Office says Linda Reann Pinto, 23, was arrested late Monday after an employee spotted her walking away from a convenience store with a suspicious cartoon backpack that was dropped off near a convenience store.
When deputies contacted Pinto, they asked her if she had any illegal substances in the bag. She reportedly told them she thought meth was in the backpack. A search of her bag revealed a metal box of syringes and white powder inside plastic bags.
She was booked into jail on a felony charge of drug possession.
