Police in Bullhead City say they've arrested a 15-year-old male student for allegedly making bomb threats in class.

They say the CRUHSD online academy reported Tuesday morning that an 8th grader allegedly told another student in class that they were all going to die and he had a bomb at his house.

The teacher overheard the conversation and the student allegedly made the same threats to the teacher.

Police say the department's bomb team did a search of the teen's house and nothing was located.

They say the student later told police that he was joking.

Police arrested the teenager for threatening and intimidating.

He's been booked into the Mohave County Juvenile Detention Center in Kingman.

Police didn't release the name of the student.
