The Department of Public Safety says a fatal crash caused serious delays on the I-17 northbound just south of Flagstaff.
The crash happened Saturday around 11:30 a.m.
The freeway was closed because of the crash for several hours but has since reopened.
Delays are still expected to last through the afternoon.
Details on what caused the crash have not been released.
