Three women were rescued off of the Cholla Trail on Camelback Mountain after getting lost and suffering from dehydration.
According to the Phoenix Fire Department, three women were lost and had been out on the mountain since 9:15 a.m. on Friday.
The women were not injured, but were running out of water and were exhausted from the heat. The women were not hiking on a trail but were in very steep terrain.
Phoenix crew members were able to bring the women down; at least one was flown off the mountain.
