Hit the brakes: 18 photo radar cameras are set to go live in Scottsdale on Friday.
The city has been testing them the last couple of weeks, but Friday is the first day citations will be processed.

The start of this program was back in 1996 but stopped because the vendor needed a private investigator license -- and now they have one.
The City of Chandler will start testing seven new photo radar cameras next week and Phoenix is expected to follow in the next couple of months.
