Scottsdale police searching for bank robber

Investigators said the robber held up the Bank of America around 1:30 p.m. and then ran away. No one was hurt in the robbery.

Scottsdale police are searching for a man who robbed a bank near Scottsdale and Thomas roads on Tuesday, officials said.

Investigators said the robber held up the Bank of America around 1:30 p.m. and then ran away. No one was hurt in the robbery.

The culprit is described a Caucasian man in his mid-40s to early 50s with a thin build and scruffy facial hair, police said.
