Firefighters say 12 homes were evacuated Thursday night in response to a hazardous situation in a Scottsdale neighborhood.
Reports came in around 8 p.m. as Southwest Gas worked to secure the gas leak in a cul-de-sac near Scottsdale and Indian Bend roads.
Residents in the area were taken to a community clubhouse while crews worked to repair the leak, officials said.
The incident has since been resolved and it's unknown what caused the gas leak.
No additional information was immediately available.
