A Department of Public Safety trooper is credited with helping to stop a wrong-way driver suspected of impairment.
DPS said the trooper on Thursday afternoon intentionally crashed into the driver as she was traveling on SR 87 just north of Bush Highway.
Troopers believe impairment may have been a factor.
Both the trooper and driver suffered minor to moderate injuries.
