A bold burglar was caught on camera breaking into a home in the middle of the day on a bicycle.
When homeowner Ryan Adams first saw him, he thought it was just a guy riding through the neighborhood carrying a Big Gulp.
But, then he watched on surveillance cameras as the man broke into his home.
"Kinda shocking how brazen he was to do this in the middle of the day. This is a community of a bunch of retirees and kids at home so this could have been a lot worse," said Adams.
According to surveillance records the burglar hit Adams' home just a few minutes after 1 p.m. on Tuesday March 15.
Since then, Adams has been showing video of the break-in to neighbors. Some believe they have seen the burglar in the neighborhood.
"I think I saw him riding his bicycle. I thought to follow him but I was afraid. I'm not a policemen and he was a very husky guy," said neighbor Robert Ayala.
Adams says the burglar got away with around $2,500 worth of jewelry, electronics, and drones.
Phoenix police are investigating the incident.
