Three hikers have been rescued after becoming stranded in the Tanque Verde Falls area on Tuesday night.
Two adults and a 5-year-old became stranded.
The Pima County Sheriff's Department says they received a rescue the call around 8 p.m. The hikers were not in the water, but stranded and unable to get across the water.
The Southern Arizona Rescue Association and a DPS helicopter assisted in the rescue.
