Tucson police say they're investigating a shooting involving officers who were responding to a mental health call.
Police spokeswoman Sgt. Kimberly Bay say the shooting happened Friday evening at a home in midtown Tucson.
Bay says a white man who was armed with a knife is dead, and that no officers were injured in the incident. She did not immediately provide any other details.
The incident comes as protests are being held in Phoenix and other cities around the country in response to the police shootings of black men in Louisiana and Minnesota.
Thursday's protest in downtown Dallas ended with a sniper attack that killed five officers and injured seven others along with two civilians.
