Officials have arrested a 19-year-old man who is accused of stabbing and killing his father in Pinal County.
According to the sheriff's office, on Friday, February 10 shortly before 9 p.m. they were informed Ricky Ricardo Hernandez, 40, had been stabbed.
Police arrived at the scene and discovered Hernandez had been stabbed in the chest and back; the man died from his injuries. The man's girlfriend was taken to a hospital after she was cut on her hand.
Police located the man's 19-year-old son, Ricky Hernandez Jr., who had fled from the scene.
Hernandez Jr. was arrested and booked into jail; he faces second-degree homicide and domestic violence aggravated assault charges.
