Sheriffs' deputies who engaged in a wild foot chase in southern Arizona this week are credited with helping a man to safety.
According to Pima County Sheriff's Office on Facebook, two deputies came across an older man who was being chased down by a large pig.
Deputy Cody Bierman jumped between the charging animal and the man so he would have more time to get away.
Someone in the area gave Deputy Bierman and Deputy Nicole Crowson a tie-down they were able to use as a leash.
The pig eventually calmed down, ready to take a few photos, and deputies called Wild Hearts Animal Rescue who took the pig to the Ironwood Pig Sanctuary.
