Two juveniles confessed to police after threats were made against the town of Maricopa.
The Maricopa Police Department said the two individuals confessed to creating the hoax of the "Maricopa Clowns" that were supposed to attack on October 7th. The teens said people in the town should "say goodbye" to their friends and family members.
Police do not believe there was ever a specific threat made, and the juveniles did not actually mean to carry out any threats.
Charges will not be filed, police said.
