A bicyclist is dead after a crash in Maricopa on Thursday morning.
Maricopa police said a 47-year-old man on a bicycle was hit by a vehicle around 4:30 a.m. near State Route 238 and State Route 347.
According to police, the driver and the bicyclist were traveling westbound on State Route 238 when the crash occurred.
The driver was taken to Maricopa police for questioning. Impairment has not been ruled out.
The name of the bicyclist has not been released.
