PHOENIX – Geotab just released a list of the best and worst commuter cities here in the United States based on a study that they conducted. The study was broken up by car, public transit and combined.
Here is how Phoenix broke down:
This averaged out to 687,820 commuters per day for an average of 26 minutes commute time.
“According to the study, Phoenix was revealed to be one of the most reachable cities by commuters traveling by car AND one of the best commuter cities overall, with drivers having an average commute of 26 minutes.”
Not too shabby, Phoenix!
New York, of course, had the worst average commute with 43 minutes, D.C. had 41 minutes, Boston 40 minutes and so on. Los Angeles, which yould assume would had quite a commute, had an average of 33 minutes wth over 1 million commuters, doubling the number of Phoenix commuters!
