The White House coronavirus task force will deliver another briefing to reporters a day after President Donald Trump signed a bill that provides paid sick leave to some American workers.

Trump signed the bill Wednesday evening, hours after it was passed by the Senate. The bill provides paid sick leave for employees at companies with between 50 and 500 workers, waived fees for coronavirus testing and provided some food assistance.

The briefing also comes as the Trump administration mulls a stimulus plan that would send cash directly to Americans. Some have estimated that the administration's plan could provide $1 trillion in funding for Americans and to aid the effort to slow the spread of the coronavirus.

The administration's briefing comes as nearly 10,000 cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed throughout the country. At least 150 people in 23 states have died in connection with the virus.
