Sources told WFAA that the incident began when a man was attacking a woman in a vehicle.
CNN reported that the suspect was using a rock to break the windows of vehicles in the airport's parking lot.
The suspect allegedly charged at officers who responded to the attack, and was shot.
A man whose plane had just landed at the airport posted video of the chaotic scene to his Instagram account. Multiple shots can be heard being fired in the video.
