A man wanted in Richland, Washington has allegedly been talking to police in the comment section of his own "wanted" post on their Facebook page.

It started over a week ago when the Richland Police Department posted a photo of 38-year-old Anthony Akers, saying that he was wanted for failure to comply by the Department of Corrections.

To everyone’s surprise, a person that appears to be Akers respond to the post, and said he would soon turn himself in. You can read their back and forth comments in the post below.

Days later, police responded to him and asked where he had been. Akers again replied and said he would turn himself in within 48 hours after “tying up some loose ends.”

After Akers again failed to turn himself in, the department continued the very serious, but also entertaining conversation, by posting again on their Facebook page.

Akers, again, responded with a photo of himself at an elevator saying that he was about to turn himself in. However, police have given no indication that Akers actually did turn himself in.
