One offspring? Check. Two? Check. Three? Holy cow!

One cow on a west Michigan farm gave birth to triplets!

The small farm, located in Sparta, is home to about 50 dairy cows and the owner of the farm says he's had cows who have had twins, but never triplets.

How rare are triplets in cows?

The chance of a cow having three calves is 1 in 100,000.

The girls are bottle fed twice a day on the farm to make sure all get equal amounts of milk so they can stay healthy and grow.

The birth, of course, was hard on mom, but she's doing okay and so are her girls.
