Anesthesia.
The drug of wonders, right? No one actually calls it that, but it does provide some video-perfect moments when the drug wears off and people start to come off of it too. Just this week, a video surfaced of two brothers pranking their sister about an imminent zombie apocalypse while the girl was feeling the effects of painkillers dentists use on patients who need to have their wisdom teeth removed.
On Wednesday, the Phoenix Zoo conducted health exams on 14 squirrel monkeys. They filmed as one of their female monkeys, T'pring, was waking up from her exam.
In a cute video, T'pring is wrapped in a towel and being held by a zookeeper as she slowly wakes up from the anesthesia. She rubs her hands over her face, like we all do when we're just waking up from a deep sleep.
