U.S. Customs and Border Protection is searching for Border Patrol K-9 Dunja after he went missing Monday on the Tohono O'odham Nation near Papago Farms.
CBP says Dunja was separated from his handler in a remote location of the desert while they were conducting tracking operations.
Dunja has been with the U.S. Border Patrol since August of 2016.

He is a 4-year old Belgian Malinois.
