When you hear about free money, it's usually a scam -- but not this time.
We've got the names of 10 Arizona families who have money just waiting to be claimed.
The money comes from old forgotten bank accounts, safe deposits boxes and other places turned over to the Arizona Department of Revenue.
The state has $1.5 billion in unclaimed money.
It sits in a person's account for 35 years and then if not claimed, it is turned over to the state's general fund.
So, the state has given the Let Joe Know team 10 names of Arizona families that are definitely on the unclaimed money list.
Here they are with their last known city of residence:

- Minnie Lee and James P. McGaffigan, Phoenix
- June R. Straus Weyell, Phoenix
- Herbert W. Jackson, Phoenix
- Chas L. Nafziger, Chandler
- Donald Reed, Scottsdale
- Clara M. Temple, Tucson
- Frank Saunders, Tucson
- Violet M. Olson, Tucson
