Speak up. Complain. Let it be known something is wrong.
That's been my motto and I know some of you feel the same way.
But I know others feel frustrated, thinking your complaints were a waste of time, nothing's being done.
Or so you thought!
Did you hear about that recent MoneyGram settlement involving wiring money fraud?
You know who’s getting refunds?
It's the victims who complained during a one year window... 7 years ago!!!
Why it took so long, I don't know.
But it’s a reminder of how justice can take time.
Another example, getting hit with a surprise bill after a hospital stay.
Turns out your insurance covered the hospital, but not your surgeon.
Well, some states have laws protecting patients.
People there complained loudly, lawmakers heard them, and changes were made.
Other states are working on similar laws.
In Arizona, no such law. So what's your next step?
