An 8-year-old boy in Kentucky was taken to a youth facility after he reportedly threatened his babysitter with a knife and took her car.
The incident happened at a home in Crofton, Ky. around 10 a.m. Friday.
A Christian County deputy responded to a call of a child out of control.
When the deputy got to the scene, the babysitter told him the child had threatened her with a knife then taken her car. The boy wasn't able to get very far, because the vehicle got stuck in the mud.
The child then made obscene gestures toward deputies as they got him out of the car, officials say.
He was taken to Cumberland Hall which is a facility in Hopkinsville, Ky. According to the deputy that responded to the call, the babysitter is not going to press any charges.
